We recently had the opportunity to participate in a private exhibition hosted by one of our overseas partners.
At TSUJISHO, we prioritize close partnerships with our local clients. We do not just export products from Japan and call it a day; we work alongside our clients as partners to develop local markets together.
Once again, we would like to express our sincere appreciation to our partner for providing this wonderful opportunity.

TSUJISHO specializes in exporting Japanese seafood and processed food products worldwide. One of our key strengths is our ability to handle mixed consolidated shipments of multiple items in small lots, even when filling a full container with a single item is difficult. This flexibility allows us to offer a wide and comprehensive variety of Japanese foods tailored to each customer’s specific needs, rather than just one-off spot deals.
At this event, we showcased two of our most popular items in the global market: Oysters and HAMACHI (Yellowtail).

While HAMACHI is already globally recognized, our oysters received an especially enthusiastic response this time.
Japanese oysters can be enjoyed raw and have a rich, plump texture. In our view, their quality stands out significantly, even when compared to prominent European oysters like those from France. At the same time, oysters are delicate products; their meat yield and overall quality can vary depending on harvest timing and specific farming areas, even within the same region.
To solve this, we mainly supply frozen, in-shell oysters in large sizes (100g+ per piece), which are in particularly high demand overseas.
With large frozen oysters, you have to be careful: poor selection can lead to oysters with large shells but very small meat inside, or meat that turns watery upon thawing. Excessively cheap products on the market often carry this risk of lower quality. If you are looking for reliably high-quality oysters with full, plump meat, please feel free to reach out to us.

Exhibiting at our partner’s private event is highly effective for business. When chefs and buyers ask, ‘Where can I buy this?’, we can immediately respond, ‘We already have stock in your country ready for delivery—let us introduce you to the local sales team right away.’
We see great value in this approach and will continue to focus on it moving forward. If you are planning a similar private event or showcase in your region, please do not hesitate to contact us.
